FEW FAQs

  1. Our students do not use technology. Can we still administer the survey?

Yes. For younger students or those who are not comfortable using technology, you may print the survey and have them complete it on paper.

However, all responses must still be entered electronically. A proctor (ideally not the students’ teacher or supervisor) will need to enter each response into Qualtrics using the survey link.

  1. We are giving the survey to both faculty/staff and students. Which group should complete it first?

We recommend administering the survey to faculty and staff first. This models openness to feedback before asking teachers to gather feedback from their students.

  1. Our district or board requires parental consent. What should we do?

If parental consent is required, please use our template form here

You may also send parents a PDF copy of the survey questions, available here

  1. How do I know the results are anonymous?

Responses are grouped by the person who distributes the survey (e.g., a teacher or administrator), not by individual respondents.

For example:

  • If a teacher administers the survey to students, responses are grouped under that teacher’s email.
  • If an administrator administers the survey to staff, responses are grouped under that administrator’s email.

Individual respondents are not identified in the reports.

  1. I completed the survey, but did not receive my results. Where are they?

First, check your junk or spam folder.

Second, consider your group size. To protect anonymity, we do not generate reports for groups with fewer than five responses. If fewer than five people completed the survey, you will not receive a report.

If you still cannot locate your report, please contact us using this form.

  1. We received campus-wide results, but would like to see the data organized differently. Is that possible?

Yes. For example, if your results are organized by grade level but you would prefer them by content area, we can recategorize the data.

Please submit your request here: https://baylor.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4JdylaUDzAykEMm and include clear instructions for how each participant should be reassigned.

  1. I need help interpreting my results. What should I do?

Please visit our “After the Survey” page here: https://bcsl.moody.baylor.edu/few-survey-overview/after-you-administer-few-survey. It includes additional resources for reflections on your results.

  1. We missed the two-week survey window. Can we still administer the survey?

No. Surveys are only administered during designated windows. Please wait until the next scheduled window to participate.
